Adaptive Clothing and Accessories

From syringes to socks…..

Our children just have SO MUCH STUFF. From medications to medication supplies, oxygen to oxygen supplies, tube-feeding formula to tube-feeding supplies, the list just keeps going. It can be quite overwhelming, and can overtake our homes to the point we feel we are living in a hospital.

But keeping everything organized is just not that simple. You KNOW what I mean. You know that eating one meal might require an adaptive plate, an adaptive utensil, a bib, something to prop up the elbow, a special drinking cup, a communication device, etc., etc. The hardest part is that our kids need so many different supplies throughout the day just to live that it’s not shocking when things spiral out of control.

Here’s what I did to slow down that spiral. Check them out to see if they might work for you!

I found these lockers on Wayfair, but I’ve seen a few different versions out there.

Thanks for reading, as always! Just so you know, I have absolutely no affiliation with any of the companies selling these products. I’m writing this purely with the hope of helping you out.

Have some ideas of your own?

Send them to specialneedsgps@gmail.com with a description and photo and I’ll share them.
